Whatever with Alexis & Jennifer gives the gals a TV platform to talk about food, dieting, movies, clothes, and whatever else is on their minds, while also interviewing people who they happen to find interesting.
In case you didn't know, Alexis Stewart is daughter to the one and only Martha Stewart, whose show also airs on the Hallmark Channel. Unlike her mother's show, Alexis's is far more laid-back, but she did inherit some of her mom's craftiness.
Alexis and Jennifer actually previously had a Fine Living Network TV show called Whatever, Martha, in which they watched old episodes of Martha Stewart Living and tried to duplicate Martha's cooking and craft projects.

Martha Stewart's daughter Alexis, and her best friend Jennifer, brought their funny syndicated radio show to TV, but TV audiences said "whatever" and the show ended after a short life span.
After the cancellation of Whatever, the two came out with Whatever, Martha!, a series that provided their reactions to various Martha Stewart episodes. Since then, the two wrote a book called Whateverland, and that ultimately broke up their friendship, which became apparent after an awkward interview from Alexis on The Today Show in 2011.
After the interview, fans of the show accused Alexis Stewart as being a "cold heartless bitch" but Jennifer Hutt said that she is just fine with friend's divorce.
