After getting off to a rather rocky start when it aired in New York City, NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly eventually moved out to Los Angeles and has continued to gain in popularity. The late night TV talk show featuring former TRL host Carson Daly airs after Late Night with Conan O'Brien each weeknight.
Carson Daly's career spans a multitude of media - from cable to radio, and now, network television. Currently, he hosts "Total Request Live," MTV's most popular and influential show (Sometimes second to the ever popular Osbornes). Carson also hosts two nationally syndicated radio programs, "Carson Daly's Most Requested" and "Out of the Box," which are broadcast in 140 markets by Premiere Radio Networks. Carson has now made the move to late-night television with the new show, "Last Call with Carson Daly" on NBC.

The Last Call With Carson Daly show taping dates are usually set around Carson's busy schedule. His other commitments, being an MTV VJ and a radio host, take priority over his new role on this show. When he does tape, he usually tapes two shows a day at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.His show formats are four 1/2 hour shows and hour long show.In most weeks he will tape for two days, but those two days are never the same.
