Launch & scheduling

The show launched as part of Fox News Channel’s weekend primetime revamp, premiering on June 3, 2023 in the 10–11 p.m. ET slot. The lineup change was announced by FNC ahead of launch.

The premiere (June 3, 2023) was hosted by Tyrus. After that, the show used a rotating lineup of hosts in 2023 — Jimmy Failla, Lisa Kennedy Montgomery (Kennedy), Kat Timpf, Tom Shillue, Emily Compagno, and Tyrus — until Failla was named the permanent host in Jan. 2024.

Hosting evolution

Through 2023 the program used a rotating roster of hosts; Fox News then named Jimmy Failla the permanent host, with Fox News Saturday Night with Jimmy Failla beginning January 13, 2024. The network emphasized that he would continue to front his weekday radio show while hosting the TV program.

Production is based at Fox News headquarters, 1211 Avenue of the Americas, New York City. Audience tickets are offered for Friday tapings (late-afternoon call time), reflecting the show’s weekly studio format; the program runs approximately 60 minutes on air.
